1. Introduction
The glass fiber separator is made of glass fiber with a diameter of 0.6-3um and is made by wet process technology. The product has good acid resistance, high porosity, small pore size, high liquid absorption rate, and low resistance. It has the functions of preventing short circuits and adsorbing the required electrolyte. Its free channel allows oxygen to be reconstituted into water on the negative electrode. There is no need to add water during use, and functions such as maintenance-free are realized.
2. Advantages of Superfine Glass Fiber (AGM) Separator
-Large liquid absorption, fast liquid absorption, good water permeability, and absorb and maintain the electrolyte of the battery's rated original capacity.
-The specific surface area is large and the pore random rate is high. As long as the electrolyte is poor, it can ensure that the oxygen generated by the positive electrode diffuses through the separator to the negative electrode and the reaction product of the negative electrode is combined with hydrogen to generate water, ensuring the need for water in the battery.
-Small pore size can prevent short circuit of the battery and prevent the migration and diffusion of some harmful substances to the electrode through the separator.
-Have good resilience, make the battery pack tightly, reduce the battery volume, prevent the deformation, bending of the electrode plate and the falling off of the active material to ensure the long life of the battery.
